Years ago my father, who loves spicy peppers, began planting jalapeños and habañeros in his back yard for his own special salsa recipe. Then, one day he combined his special peppers with Virginia Peanuts and the infused nut was born, a hot and spicy treat for his family and friends to share.

For years, we have enjoyed this spicy treat at family gatherings and parties. Everyone first enjoys the wonderful flavor of Virginia Peanuts and then the surprising heat from the jalapeño and habañero without a messy coating.

In November of 2005, with continuing support of my family and friends, we started our spicy peanut company to share the experience of the infused nut with you.
